Mr. Glenn Thomsen: Cherokee High School Boys Varsity Head Coach

Coach Thomsen has been coaching boys soccer, at Cherokee since 2002. Throughout the years, he has earned his NJYS Grassroots licenses for 4v4,7v7,9v9 and 11v11. He also holds a National F,E and D License through USYSA. As Head Coach of Cherokee Boys Soccer Team, he just lead his team to win the Group IV State Championship for the 2022 season.

Jeff Provost: Cherokee High School Boys Varsity Assistant Coach

Coach Provost has been the Boys Varsity Assistant Coach for the past 7 years.

Mrs. Laura Vopelius: Goalkeeper trainer

Coach Vopelius aka "Fin" was the goal keeper for West Virginia University. She was also a personal trainer for many youth soccer residents. 

Sheldon Blue: Mens' Assistant Coach for Roanoke College

 Junior Counselors: All-State, All-SJ , All-Olympic Conference and D1, 2, and 3  Collegiate Level Soccer Players
